Print by Rauschenberg, who passed away today, which made me a little upset, because I respond very strongly to his work. One of the best things that came to Hofstra was a series of his prints, which we had to write about for my Alternative Processes photography class. It’s the way I was introduced to his work, and I was thrilled when I went to the Museum of Contemporary Art in Nice and they had a bunch, as well. Like a lot of truly great art, it’s quite something to see something like this in person.
